"Section 2 of the NYSPHSAA, Inc. will be a source of information, provide guidance, governance and support for all member schools. We will follow the rules and guidelines of the State Education Department and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. Our primary goal is to provide safe quality experiences which foster sportsmanship for our student-athletes, coaches, fans and school communities. Through interscholastic athletic participation our student-athletes will learn valuable life lessons."
